Lockheed Martin was awarded a sole-source, cost-plus-incentive-fee/cost-plus-award-fee contract modification. The value of this contract modification is $29.73M, increasing the total contract value from $1.41B to $1.44B. Under this modification, the contractor shall provide system engineering and program management services in accordance with established Aegis system engineering practices for the post certification support of Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense baselines 4.0.X, 5.0 and 5.0 capability upgrade. Work is expected to be completed Dec. 31, 2014.
