| 10:31 EDT |  | LMT | Lockheed Martin receives $71M LRASM modification contract from U.S. Navy Lockheed Martin has received a $71M Long Range Anti-Ship Missile modification contract from the U.S. Navy to conduct air- and surface-launched flight tests and other risk reduction activities. Under this contract, an additional air-launched LRASM flight test will be conducted from a B-1B in 2013. There are already two air-launched flight tests scheduled for this year as part of the Phase 2 LRASM contract awarded in 2010. The contract also includes two surface-launched LRASM flight tests scheduled for 2014. |

The value of this contract modification is $29.73M, increasing the total contract value from $1.41B to $1.44B. Under this modification, the contractor shall provide system engineering and program management services in accordance with established Aegis system engineering practices for the post certification support of Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense baselines 4.0.X, 5.0 and 5.0 capability upgrade. Work is expected to be completed Dec. 31, 2014. |
