Lockheed Martin has been awarded a contract for maintenance of the battle command system used by the Marines to manage and monitor airborne platforms, including fighters, bombers, tankers, unmanned aerial vehicles, and helicopters. Under a contract worth approximately $18M, Lockheed Martin will upgrade and sustain the USMC's Virtualized Theater Battle Management Core Systems.

United Launch Services, a 50-50 joint venture owned by Lockheed Martin (LMT) and Boeing (BA), has been awarded a $938.37M modification to previously awarded FA8811-13-C-0003 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for FY15 EELV launch capability for the Delta IV and Atlas V families of launch vehicles. This contract provides for mission assurance, program management, systems engineering, integration of the space vehicle with the launch vehicle, launch site and range operations, and launch infrastructure maintenance and sustainment. Work will be performed at Littleton, Colorado; Vandenberg Air Force Base, California; and Cape Canaveral Air Station, Florida, with an expected completion date of Sept. 30, 2015.

Sikorsky Aircraft, a United Technologies company, was awarded a $203.57M modification to firm-fixed-price contract W58RGZ-12-C-0008 to procure 18 Green UH-60M Blackhawk helicopters, and 18 foreign military sales Green government furnished property to contractor furnished property, to support the Mexican Air Force. FY14 other procurement funds in the amount of $203.57M were obligated at the time of the award. Estimated completion date is May 30, 2016.

Lockheed Martin is being awarded a not-to-exceed $147.49M firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed fee, and cost-type-letter contract for low rate initial production and fielding of Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program, or SEWIP, Block 2 systems. SEWIP is an evolutionary acquisition and incremental development program which upgrades existing out-of-production AN/SLQ-32V electronic warfare systems by providing improved electronic support receivers and combat system interface. This contract includes options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value to $158.79M. Work is expected to be completed by September 2017.
