The Navy's decision to add 22 more of Boeing's (BA) Growler planes to its fiscal 2015 budget is raising questions about the service's commitment to Lockheed Martin's (LMT) F-35C planes, according to Military.com. Meanwhile, the Navy now plans to buy only 36 F-35Cs over the next five years, down from its 69 previously, and Boeing is trying to convince the service that the F-35's technology isn't as effective as it used to be, the website added.
