L-3 Communications awarded $162.7M contract from U.S. Army
L-3 Communications announced that its MPRI division has been awarded a $162.7M cost plus fixed fee follow-on contract to support the U.S. Army Central Command’s Kuwait Observer-Controller Team program. Under this award, MPRI will be a subcontractor to Raytheon to provide training for U.S. and Coalition forces at the Udari Range in Kuwait. Government contractors such as Northrop Grumman (NOC) and Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) cut expenses during Q4 in order to keep their profits high, according to The Washington Post.
