Florida-bound US Airways (LCC) Flight 1702 had to abort takeoff at Philadelphia International Airport yesterday after the plane's nose gear collapsed, the Associated Press reports. The Airbus A320 plane was carrying 149 passengers and five crew members. No serious injuries were reported. Reference Link

The crew of the Airbus (EADSY) A400M that crashed Saturday reported a technical difficulty just minutes before the crash, and Der Spiegel claimed the aircraft experienced multiple engine failure, reports the Financial Times, citing people close to the crash investigation.
