Overseas Union Enterprise, backed by Indonesia's Lippo Group, today said it's seeking partners for a potential takeover bid for Fraser and Neave, reports Reuters. Kirin Holdings Co. (KNBWY) is one of the companies involved in the preliminary discussions, sources say. The battle for F&N's businesses is now about the group's property portfolio, worth over $6.56B. Last month, F&N agreed to sell its approximate 40% stake in Tiger beer maker Asia Pacific Breweries to Heineken (HINKY). Reference Link | |
