08:31 EDTKKRKKR announces partnership with Fleur de Lis Energy
Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. and Fleur de Lis Energy, LLC announced a new partnership to pursue investments in producing oil and gas properties in North America. The partnership will be part of KKR’s Natural Resources platform. KNR’s current portfolio of assets in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi will continue to be operated by Premier Natural Resources. In aggregate, current production from those assets is approximately 130 million cubic feet equivalent per day.

Two private equity-led firms -- one with KKR (KKR) and Hellman & Friedman, and the other with CVC Capital and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board -- are expected to each bid over $4B for Petco Holdings, which operates around 1,300 stores in the U.S., The New York Post reports.
