08:53 EDTAGU, KBRKBR awarded two EPC contracts for Agrium's Lone Star Project
KBR announced that Agrium awarded the company two engineering, procurement and construction, or EPC, contracts for a new grassroots urea plant and to increase the ammonia capacity for Agrium's Lone Star Project in Borger, Texas. Upon completion, this world-scale fertilizer facility will produce approximately 670,000 tons of urea per year and 700,000 tons per year of ammonia supporting the North American agriculture industry. The contract values, which were not disclosed, were included in the 2Q13 and 3Q13 backlog of unfilled orders for the Hydrocarbons segment.

During Q2, the company completed the sale of its Building Group subsidiary and recognized a pre-tax gain of $28M, or 15c per diluted share. Accordingly, the guidance range for 2015 fully diluted EPS after excluding the legacy U.S. Government related legal costs is increased to $1.22-$1.37. The company's previous 2015 fully diluted EPS guidance was a range of $1.07-$1.22, after excluding $18M-$25M pre-tax of legal costs associated with legacy U.S. Government contracts. Consensus $1.18. Backlog at June 30 was $15.3B, which includes the $5.4B addition for the GS contracts in the U.K. and $456M from Non-strategic businesses.
