08:53 EDTKBR, AGUKBR awarded two EPC contracts for Agrium's Lone Star Project
KBR announced that Agrium awarded the company two engineering, procurement and construction, or EPC, contracts for a new grassroots urea plant and to increase the ammonia capacity for Agrium's Lone Star Project in Borger, Texas. Upon completion, this world-scale fertilizer facility will produce approximately 670,000 tons of urea per year and 700,000 tons per year of ammonia supporting the North American agriculture industry. The contract values, which were not disclosed, were included in the 2Q13 and 3Q13 backlog of unfilled orders for the Hydrocarbons segment.

Steve comes to Agrium from Brookfield Asset Management where he was Senior Managing Partner and CFO of Brookfield Property Partners and also previously held the role of CFO at Falconbridge.
08:10 EDTKBRKBR awarded EPC contract for new HDPE facility in La Porte, Texas
KBR announced it has been awarded a contract from Gemini HDPE, a manufacturing joint venture between INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA and Sasol, to provide engineering, procurement, and construction, or EPC, services for a new high-density polyethylene, or HDPE, facility to be located at INEOS's Battleground Manufacturing Complex in La Porte, Texas. The new facility is designed to produce 470 kilotons per annum of bimodal HDPE using Innovene S process technology licensed from INEOS Technologies. The new, single-train facility will include new polymerization, pelletization, and railcar load-out facilities, plus upgrades to existing utilities and infrastructure.
