Kaman announces $58M Joint Programmable Fuze order Kaman Corporation announced that its Aerospace segment has been awarded a contract modification in the amount of $58M for the procurement of Joint Programmable Fuzes. The award is the first order under Option 12 of Kamanís JPF contract with the U.S. Air Force. Delivery of the fuzes is anticipated to occur in 2016 and 2017. Kaman has been the sole provider of the JPF to the USAF since 2002. In addition to the USAF, Kaman provides the JPF to twenty-six other nations.
Kaman awarded long term agreement by Bell Helicopter Kaman Corporation announced that its Aerosystems division has been awarded an extension to its current contract with Bell Helicopter to manufacture skin and skin to core components for the Bell UH-1Y and AH-1Z helicopters. This five-year follow on contract has an expected value in excess of $25M. The components will continue to be manufactured at the Kaman Composite Structures facility in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
