07:45 EDTJPMJPMorgan sees Basel III Tier 1 common ratio over 10% in 2014
JPMorgan expects both Firm SLR and Bank SLR to be over 5% in 2014. JPMorgan said it has been approved to exit Basel III Advanced Parallel reporting. Effective Q2, the Firm will be subject to Basel III Advanced. Anticipated 2014 leverage actions include the run-off in CCB as well as legacy structured credit portfolios in CIB, reducing discretionary short-term financing transactions in CIB and targeted reduction of non-operating deposits in CB/CIB. The company says its leverage compliance is achievable with "minimal client or financial impact." JPMorgan says its capital targets withstand stress scenarios and "should allow for excess capital to be used or returned." Information from slides for JPMorgan Chase 2014 Investor Day.
