Johnson & Johnson has halted sales of tools called power morcellators, which are used in fibroid surgery, amid concerns about their potential to spread a rare but deadly cancer, the Wall Street Journal reports. The FDA issued an advisory on April 17 discouraging doctors from using the devices used in a popular uterine surgery. J&J began selling the devices through its Ethicon unit in 1998. Reference Link
