09:04 EDTJKSJinkoSolar to supply 81 MW WBHO-building energy in South Africa
JinkoSolar announced that it has signed a contract with fix price to supply WBHO-Building Energy with 81 MW of photovoltaic modules for the solar PV park project in Gamagara Local Municipality, Northern Cape Province, South Africa. JinkoSolar will deliver a total of 344,540 PV high quality solar panels for the project, which is expected to generate approximately 146 GWh of power equivalent to supply electricity to 12,000 households and to reduce carbon emissions by about 145,800 tons annually. The project will be the largest individual PV solar plants in South Africa upon its completion. Shipments starts in Q1 2013 and all PV panels will have been shipped before end of Q4, 2013.

JinkoSolar subsidiary JinkoSolar Power Co. has signed a PV project development agreement with the government of Shicheng County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province to develop 200MW PV power plant. The project will require an aggregate investment amount of approximately RMB1.6B. The PV power plant will be constructed in four phases over a period of 4 years. The first phase of construction will begin during 1H15.

JinkoSolar panels are being installed by SunEnergy 1 at the Duke Energy Renewables-owned Capital Partners Solar Project in eastern North Carolina. The solar project was announced as a partnership among three customers that will bring solar power from rural North Carolina to the urban settings of the Washington, D.C., institutions.
