Jacobs Engineering announced that it was awarded a contract from Saudi Aramco Lubricating Oil Refining to provide project management consulting services for an expansion project at its lube oil refinery in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. Officials did not disclose the contract value, however noted that the overall expansion project cost is estimated at approximately $1B. Under the terms of the agreement, Jacobs is providing PMC services for both inside battery limits and outside battery limits. |

Jacobs Engineering Group announced that it received a contract from Minera Chinalco Peru S.A. to perform a feasibility study for the expansion of its Toromocho copper mining facilities in the Morococha District of Peru. Officials did not disclose the contract value, but noted that the project is expected to be executed out of Jacobs’ Lima, Peru office with assistance from its Santiago, Chile and Tucson, Ariz., U.S. offices. |
