Jacobs Engineering Group announced that it received a contract from the Air Force Materiel Command, or AFMC, in Valparaiso, Fla. The three-year contract has an estimated value of $27M. Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing software engineering and sustainment services for the Air Force's Patriot Excalibur system. PEX is a software that enables warfighter preparation, tying all the functional areas of a squadron organization together and seamlessly sharing information and enhancing situational awareness across operations. | |

Jacobs Engineering Group announced that it was awarded a contract by Polimeri Europa UK, to provide engineering, procurement and construction management services to support a major expansion at Polimeri Europa UK's plant in Grangemouth, Scotland. Officials did not disclose the contract value, but noted that the project is expected to be executed out of Jacobs' Glasgow, Scotland office. Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing EPCM services in collaboration with Polimeri Europa UK to support the installation of a new finishing line and the associated works. Jacobs Engineering Group announced that it was awarded a contract to provide integrated delivery advisor services to the Defence Equipment and Support, or DE&S, organization of the U.K. Ministry of Defence. Company officials did not disclose the contract value, but noted that under the terms of the contract Jacobs is supporting the Materiel Strategy program managed by DE&S.
