Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced its award to provide program management services for the new $1.2B, estimated $754M in construction, Louisiana State University, or LSU),Academic Medical Center in mid-town New Orleans. Projected at 1.6M square feet, this state-of-the-art medical center will replace public hospital facilities lost to Hurricane Katrina, and is on a site adjacent to the planned new Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
