Traffic in December increased 6.1% from December 2011, on a capacity increase of 6.1%. Load factor for December 2012 was 80.1%, a decrease of 0.1 points from December 2011. JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 99.6% and its on-time performance was 70.2%. JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of December increased 2% year over year. | |

From 2007 through last year, U.S. airlines cut the number of scheduled domestic flights by 14%.
