JetBlue (JBLU) CEO Dave Barger said he expects to have discussions with his board soon about whether to extend his employment beyond his current seven year tenure, but Barger is under pressure as JetBlue's stock has lagged peers and the company recently saw its COO and three VPs depart, reported The Wall Street Journal. Other publicly traded airlines include American Airlines (AAL), Delta Air Lines (DAL), Southwest (LUV) and United Continental (UAL). Reference Link

American Airlines Group (AAL) announced that American Airlines fares will return to Orbitz (OWW) on Friday after the companies entered into a letter of intent. American Airlines Group also no longer plans to remove US Airways fares from Orbitz on Sept. 1 as previously announced. The companies are working toward final agreements based on the letter of intent. All tickets previously purchased through Orbitz and other Orbitz-powered websites remain valid for travel. Customers who want to change reservations bought through Orbitz should call Orbitz to make those changes.
