Investors is a hybrid -- dual-owned -- part mutually held and part publicly traded. By the end of the year, management will likely announce an offering for the rest of its equity. Barron's reports. A second-step deal would dissolve the mutual holding company, providing the bank with plenty of excess capital and unlocking significant value for shareholders.
