iRobot stated in slides for today's presentation at the UBS Global Consumer conference that its full-year expectations for FY 2014 include revenue of $560M-$570M, EPS of $1.00-$1.10, and adjusted EBITDA of $74M-$78M. The company stated in the slides that this repeats its guidance issued February 5. However in iRobot's press release issued via PR Newswire on Feb. 5 the company's chairman and CEO Colin Angle is quoted as stating, "For 2014, we expect revenue of $560 to $570 million, EPS of between $1.00 and $1.15 and Adjusted EBITDA of $74 to $78 million, or roughly 14 percent of revenue." 09:01 EDTIRBTiRobot wins contracts valued at $9.6M from Canadian National Defence Dept
iRobot has been awarded multi-year contracts with an initial value of $9.6M by the Canadian Department of National Defence. The contracts, awarded after a competitive bidding process, call for the delivery of 20 iRobot 510 PackBot CBRN Recce Systems, training and future product lifecycle support. All systems under the contract are expected to be delivered by April 2015.
