Discovery (DISCA) said Comcast's (CMCSA) takeover of Time Warner Cable (TWC) could give the combined company an unfair advantage over programmers, reports the New York Post. Fossil Group (FOSL) and Intel Corporation (INTC) announced that they will be collaborating to further develop wearable technology for the fashion industry. Fossil Group will partner with Intel to identify, support and develop emerging trends in the wearable technology space. The companies will work together on emerging products and technologies that will be developed for the fashion-oriented consumer. In addition, Fossil Group will work closely with Intel Capital, Intelís global investment organization, to identify and evaluate co-investments in emerging technologies to accelerate industry innovation and stay at the forefront of the wearable consumer trend.

After NVIDIA (NVDA) filed lawsuits against Qualcomm (QCOM) and Samsung, JMP Securities thinks there is a good chance that NVIDIA will obtain a favorable ruling or settlement that is equal or greater to the $1.5B deal it cut with Intel (INTC),. The firm thinks that other companies, most notably Apple (AAPL), will launch talks with NVIDIA in the wake of the lawsuit. JMP Securities recommends buying NVIDIA ahead of upcoming Apple product refreshes and what it sees as accelerating growth trends for NVIDIA. The firm is upbeat about NVIDIA's new products and reiterates an Outperform rating.
