09:01 EDTIACIElectus International secures multi-title deal with Discovery Networks
Electus, an operating business of InterActiveCorp, announced that its global distribution arm, Electus International, has secured a multi-title, finished tape deal with Discovery Networks Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa for four unscripted titles. These series will broadcast across Discovery Networks 105 countries within its CEEMEA territories from January 2013 on their flagship network brands Discovery Channel and TLC.

IAC (IACI) yesterday announced the appointment of Bonnie Hammer to the company's Board of Directors, effective September 12. Hammer serves as Chairman, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment (CMCSA), where she leads NBCUniversal's entire cable entertainment portfolio including USA, Syfy, E! Entertainment, Bravo, Oxygen, Esquire Network, Sprout, Chiller and Cloo, as well as production entities Universal Cable Productions and Wilshire Studios.

An IAC/InterActiveCorp spokesperson has confirmed that the company has settled a sexual harassment and discrimination suit filed by Tinder co-founder and former VP of marketing Whitney Wolfe, the Associated Press reports. Terms of the settlement have not been disclosed, though the spokesperson says IAC, which owns Tinder, did not admit wrongdoing. Reference Link
