Humana sees acquisition of Metropolitan Health accretive to FY13 earnings Humana (HUM) announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Metropolitan Health Networks (MDF) in a transaction valued at approximately $850M plus transaction costs. Humana continues to anticipate the transaction to be modestly accretive to its earnings for FY13. Humana expects to update its earnings guidance for FY13 to reflect the closing of the Metropolitan acquisition in conjunction with its 4Q12 earnings release on February 4, 2013.
