07:52 EDTHPQHP announces network delivery order of $40M by U.S. Navy
HP announced that HP PCs were chosen as part of the U.S. Navy's selection of Integration Technologies Group for the refresh of OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network, the Navy's enterprise network of bases outside the continental United States. The ONE-Net delivery order includes a two-year base period and two-year option period, and isn't to exceed $40M. As part of the delivery order, HP desktop PCs, displays, notebooks and tablets will replace the current systems at domestic and international bases. ONE-Net provides technical capabilities, such as secure network access, for deployed and support forces at 14 overseas fleet bases and stations in the Far East, the Middle East and Europe.
