Honeywell International (HON) is evaluating about 100 companies as potential acquisition targets, focusing on deals of less than $1B billion, says CEO Dave Cote. He added that while the prospects are valued at as much as $20B, they're unlikely to buy anything that big because it would risk integration challenges and paying too much.Reference Link

UOP, a Honeywell company, announced that it has been selected by BW Offshore to remove contaminants from natural gas aboard a new Floating Production, Storage and Offloading, or FPSO, vessel off the coast of Scotland. The vessel, which will be leased to Premier Oil, will include a UOP Separex Membrane System to remove carbon dioxide.
