Herbalife announced a new website designed to highlight the positive impact Herbalife has had on the lives of the company’s members and customers. The site also addresses misperceptions that have been put into the market about its business model. The website is called iamherbalife.com and chronicles stories of people from across the United States whose lives have been improved through Herbalife’s products or the opportunity for financial empowerment. The company said the website also, "shines a light on the truth behind the allegations made by Pershing Square and the extraordinary lengths they have gone to in order to achieve their goal of driving down Herbalife’s stock price for financial gain."

Bill Ackman's hedge-fund Pershing Square said most of the Herbalife contracts it holds will expire next year and that it will extend their terms by "paying additional premiums if it is necessary to do so," according to Bloomberg, citing Ackman's quarterly letter to investors. In the letter, Ackman said that the cost of holding a short position in options of Herbalife has dropped "substantially" after the company canceled its dividend, the report noted. Reference Link
