Hill International announced that it has received a contract from the Los Angeles Community College District to provide project management, construction management and other specialty professional services on a task-order basis in support of LACCD's bond program. Hill's contract is one of ten awarded on a task-order basis the budget for which, in the aggregate for all ten contracts, is $82.9M over the next five years.

Hill International announced the following major changes at its Brazilian subsidiary Engineering S.A. effective immediately: The subsidiary has been renamed Hill International do Brasil S.A. Sergio Luiz da Camara Falco has been promoted to Vice President and Brazil Country Manager for Hill's Project Management Group. Falco will continue to be based out of the company's Sao Paulo, Brazil office. Falco has 30 years of experience in project management and monitoring for commercial, institutional and retail facilities. Prior to this promotion, Falco was Executive Director of Operations for the company's Sao Paulo office. Hill has acquired an additional ownership stake in the subsidiary, increasing Hill's ownership from approximately 72% to approximately 91%. "These changes will help us to better manage our Brazilian operations and more fully integrate them with the rest of Hill International," said David L. Richter, Hill's President and Chief Executive Officer. "We expect this will improve our market position in that country and allow us to eliminate significant overhead costs going forward," added Richter.

Hill International announced that it has received two contracts from the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) to provide program management consultancy support services in connection with the Living Communities Program in Saudi Arabia. The two contracts have a combined estimated value to Hill of approximately $6M. The $270M Living Communities Program is designed to support the industrial cities of Saudi Arabia by offering healthcare, education, commercial and social amenities. The first phase of the program will include residential communities supporting the cities of Jeddah, Dammam, Sudair, Al Kharj, Madinah and Hail.
