14:16 EDTHILHill International awarded $109M contract
Hill International announced that it has been awarded a contract by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Public Authority for Civil Aviation of the Sultanate of Oman to provide consulting engineering services in connection with the approximately OMR 2B ($5.2B) expansion and modernization of Muscat International and Salalah Airports. The two-year contract has an estimated value to Hill of approximately OMR 41.8M ($108.5M). The expansion of Muscat International Airport, the largest airport in Oman, includes a new terminal that will have a capacity of 12M passengers annually. The expansion of Salalah Airport, the second largest airport in Oman, involves upgrading it from primarily a domestic airport to make it more suitable for international travelers, including building a new runway long enough to handle the A380 Airbus, and a new terminal that will improve the airport's capacity to 1M passengers annually.

Hill International announced that it has received a contract from Bombay Realty to provide project management consultant and site supervision services for One and Two Island City Center in Mumbai, India. The four-year contract has an estimated value to Hill of approximately $6.5M.
