Hartford Financial names Swift CEO, McGee stays as executive chairman The Hartford announced that Christopher Swift has been appointed CEO and member of the board and Douglas Elliot has been named president. Liam McGee, currently chairman, president, and CEO, continues in his role as executive chairman of the board until the next annual shareholders' meeting. The company also appointed Beth Bombara to succeed Swift in the CFO role. The appointments are effective July 1.
