In the wake of the crisis in Ukraine, the Obama administration is looking to more aggressively use U.S. natural gas expertise and diplomacy to undercut Russian natural gas sales to Ukraine and Europe, according to The New York Times. The State Department is facilitating partnerships among energy companies, including Halliburton (HAL) and Shell (RDS.A), and European countries, the newspaper noted. Gazprom (OGZPY) is Russia's main natural gas exporter. Reference Link

Dako, an Agilent Technologies (A) company, announced a new Master Collaboration Agreement with Amgen (AMGN). The expanded collaboration will allow both companies to benefit from knowledge-sharing within the field of drug-diagnostic research and development in general, and in relation to companion diagnostic products in particular. The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
