GlaxoSmithKline has admitted that members of its staff were caught bribing Chinese officials back in 2001, leading to the firing of about 30 employees, according to the Financial Times. The new information has emerged as the company faces inquiries from authorities in the U.K. and the U.S. regarding the alleged bribing of doctors and officials to boost drug sales in China.
