News Breaks January 2, 2013 08:40 EDT GOOG Google to ship Google Glass to developers soon, ieee spectrum reports Google (GOOG) plans to provide developers with access to its Google Glass wearable computer glasses early this year, the head of the project, Babak Parviz, told ieee spectrum in a mid-Decemebr interview that was released for the website's January issue. The device includes a touch pad that will allow users to change settings on the product, and the company has "experimented a lot" with enabling the product to respond to voice commands, the website quoted Parvitz as saying. Google is also working on enabling users to accept phone calls on the device, and the company has no plans "at the moment" to sell ads for Google Glass, the website quoted Parvitz as saying.
