Some China-based handset vendors who feel that Google (GOOG) has unreasonably high charges for some Android applications plan to ask China to launch an anti-trust probe, according to DigiTimes, citing industry sources in Taiwan. The same report says Qualcomm (QCOM) and InterDigital (IDC), who are already under investigation in China for their competitive practices, reportedly have been making efforts to improve relations there. Google has set up a detailed process to comply with the European Union's "right to forget" rules and removed hundreds of thousands of links in search results for people's names from the European versions of its search engine, but European regulators argue that the company is undermining the decision by not applying it globally, reported The Wall Street Journal.
