For a third time Glencore (GLNCY) and Xstrata (XSRAY) are seeking to extend the deadline to close on their proposed merger, according to Financial Times, which noted one source said the extension would probably run for at least a month. The companies held talks this week with Chinese regulators and talks with South African regulators are due to start tomorrow, according to the report. Reference Link | |
