CGI Federal Inc., a wholly-owned U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI Group, announced that it has been granted a "Provisional Authority to Operate", or P-ATO, by the Defense Information Systems Agency, or DISA, which serves as the cloud service broker for the U.S. Department of Defense. DISA is a combat support agency for the DoD, that promotes information-sharing capabilities and a globally accessible enterprise information infrastructure across military operations. The DoD authorization builds upon CGI's commitment to cloud security as a component of our customers' missions.

08:30 EDTGIBCGI Group awarded five-year contract from US Army Sustainment Command
CGI announced that it has won a five-year contract with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command for software development and support of the Integrated Materiel Management Operations Systems application suite. The base year has been incrementally funded at US$3.1 million. If all options are exercised, the contract value will be $55.8M with a completion of date July 31, 2020. The work will be performed in Alexandria, Virginia and at multiple locations within the continental United States and overseas.

ArcelorMittal Bremen, a subsidiary of ArcelorMittal (MT), has renewed its partnership with CGI. ArcelorMittal Bremen outsourced its IT to CGI five years ago, and, since then, CGI has managed the company's two data centers in Bremen, provided IT infrastructure support, and maintained all applications predominantly developed by ArcelorMittal Bremen, as well as other warehousing and automated production control systems. In addition, CGI provides field service support for approximately 2,000 Windows end-user systems. CGI's scope of activities for ArcelorMittal Bremen has expanded considerably over the course of the engagement. CGI was given, for example, responsibility for an additional 180 production control systems. In fact, the contract volume has doubled in size.
