08:42 EDTGIBCGI Group selected for $7B multiple-award ID/IQ contract from the U.S. Army
The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command Life Cycle Management Command, or CECOM LCMC, Software Engineering Center has awarded CGI Federal, a wholly-owned U.S. operating subsidiary of CGI Group, a prime position on the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, or ID/IQ, multiple-award contract for the Software and Systems Engineering Services Next Generation, or SSES NexGen, contract. The five-year ID/IQ has a total vehicle ceiling of $7B. Under the vehicle, CGI will deliver life cycle systems, software engineering, and business and information technology support services to the Software Engineering Center, which supports the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, or C4ISR, mission in the Army and across the Department of Defense.

07:35 EDTGIBCGI Group awarded C$69M by city of Oslo
CGI has been awarded a C$69M contract by the Agency for Education, or UDE, in the City of Oslo to modernize a large information and communications technology, or ICT, system used by the city's public schools. The new system will support more than 90,000 students and teachers in all of Oslo's 172 public schools and learning centers, as well as external stakeholders such as the parents of students. The new contract will run for six years with the opportunity to extend the contract for two more years. CGI will modernize a large system in current use to achieve the city's main objective of having a cloud-based system that addresses all school operational, teaching, communication and collaboration needs.
