CGI Group announced that they have been selected as preferred supplier to provide fully managed payroll services to the Department of Health, or DH's, Arms Length Bodies, or ALBs. This announcement is in line with the Government policy of delivering efficiencies through the sharing of back office functions. It is expected to deliver an excellent level of support to DH's ALBs, which enable the NHS to operate effectively. These organisations will employ over 30,000 staff and include the Health Protection Agency and the NHS Commissioning Board. | |
