The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it might open a formal investigation into 1.6M Ford (F) Escape SUVs for engine problems, reports Detroit News. The NHTSA said it has agreed to review a request by the North Carolina Council to open the investigation into alleged electronic throttle body failures in 2005-2012 Ford Escapes. Reference Link
