Foster Wheeler awarded contract by GS E&C for CFB steam generator Foster Wheeler AG announced that a subsidiary of its Global Power Group has been awarded a contract by GS E&C for the design and supply of one circulating fluidized-bed steam generator for the Dangjin 4 Biomass Power Plant Project for GS EPS, a subsidiary of GS Group. The plant will be located in Dangjin, a city in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea. Foster Wheeler has received a full notice to proceed on this contract. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed and the contract value will be included in the company’s first quarter 2013 bookings. Commercial operation of the new steam generator is scheduled for 3Q15.
