Forest Oil names Patrick McDonald as Interim CEO Forest Oil announced that the company’s board has appointed Patrick McDonald to serve as Interim CEO, effective immediately. McDonald succeeds H. Craig Clark as CEO. Clark was appointed as President and CEO and as a director of Forest in July 2003. The board has initiated a search process for a permanent CEP, and has retained Spencer Stuart, to assist in the process. In connection with Spencer Stuart’s review of candidates, McDonald has asked not to be considered for a permanent role. McDonald has been a director at Forest Oil since 2004.
