12:09 EDTFNSR, CSCOFinisar drops after Piper urges 'caution' into earnings
Shares of Finisar (FNSR) are moving lower after Piper Jaffray in a note to investors earlier today said it is "increasingly cautious" heading into the company's March 6 earnings report. Piper believes Finisar is not likely to top earnings expectations given the declines its largest customer Cisco (CSCO) has seen in switching and routing. The firm lowered its price target for Finisar shares to $30 from $34 but kept an Overweight rating on the stock. Shares of Finisar are down 5%, or $1.19, to $23.35 in mid-day trading.
