The company said, "Our Agricultural Products segment expects to achieve its 10th consecutive year of record earnings, with pronounced strength in the early and later parts of the year. In Specialty Chemicals, our BioPolymer business will benefit from recently completed capacity increases, while we will continue to focus on improving operating performance in Lithium. In Industrial Chemicals, we expect export soda ash pricing to begin recovering in the second half of 2013, which will result in positive contributions to earnings growth for this segment. We also expect to begin seeing the benefits of our Manufacturing Excellence initiatives during 2013, especially within Industrial Chemicals." | |
