Fluor announced that Centinela Solar Energy, a member of LS Power Group, has awarded the company a lump-sum engineering, procurement and construction contract, as well as a separate contract for ongoing operations and maintenance services for its new nominal 170-megawatt solar photovoltaic facility located in Southern California. Fluor has been awarded both the 125-megawatt Phase 1 and the 45-megawatt Phase 2 of the Centinela project and received full notice-to-proceed for Phase 1 which was booked into backlog in Q3. Phase 2 is expected to be released in Q1 of 2013. | |
