14:00 EDTUMC, FJTSYFujitsu to withdraw from semiconductor manufacturing, Nikkei reports
Fujitsu (FJTSY) will wind down chip production and sell two fabrication facilities over the next few years to U.S. and Taiwanese companies, the Nikkei reports. The company's semiconductor business generated sales of $3.13B in the year ended March 31. Fujitsu is reportedly going to sell its Mie plant to United Microelectronics (UMC). Reference Link

Qumu (QUMU) announced a sales partnership with Fujitsu (FJTSY). Fujitsu deployed Qumu’s enterprise video solution in 2014 to over 160,000 employees throughout their organization. After rolling out the Qumu solution internally, Fujitsu will now offer the Qumu solution for sale to its customers. The Qumu solution sold by Fujitsu will provide the full spectrum of features from the Qumu Enterprise video platform.
