According to sources, Fujitsu (FJTSY) and Panasonic (PC) will merge their chip businesses in FY13, Reuters reports. Fujitsu may look to take a majority stake in the venture, which would be a design and development-only firm, and the companies are in talks with Development Bank of Japan over funding for the venture.
