U.S. safety regulators announced a broadening of a previous recall by 695,957 vehicles which includes more model years of Fiat Chrysler cars that have defected ignition switches, according to Reuters, citing a statement from Chrysler. 2008-2009 Dodge Grand Caravans and Chrysler Town & Country minivans along with 2009 Dodge Journey crossover models have been added to the previous recall.
