Elbit Systems (ESLT) announced that M7 Aerospace, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems, will be working with BAE Systems (BAESY) to provide logistics support for the T-34, T-44, and T-6 aircraft under a contract awarded to BAE Systems by the Naval Air Systems Command, or NAVAIR. Under its NAVAIR contract, BAE Systems awarded M7 a subcontract of approximately $50M to be performed over a five-year period.

BAE Systems, York, Pennsylvania, was awarded a $141,788,689 modification, exercising Option 1, to fixed-price-incentive contract W56HZV-14-C-0002, for 18 Self-Propelled Howitzers and 18 Carrier Ammunition Tracked vehicles. Fiscal 2014 and 2015 other procurement funds in the amount of $141,788,689 were obligated at the time of the award. Estimated completion date is Feb. 28, 2017. Army Contracting Command, Tank and Automotive,Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity.

Israel's Elbit Systems (ESLT) is looking to buy Israeli company DSIT for $10M, according to The Marker. DSIT has developed an undersea monitoring system for use by militaries, energy companies, and nuclear reactors, according to the website. The system was successfully used by the Israel Defense Forces to detect Hamas divers who planned to carry out a terrorist attack against an Israeli kibbutz during last summer's war between Israel and Hamas, The MAarker noted.
