Elbit Systems (ESLT) announced that M7 Aerospace, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems, will be working with BAE Systems (BAESY) to provide logistics support for the T-34, T-44, and T-6 aircraft under a contract awarded to BAE Systems by the Naval Air Systems Command, or NAVAIR. Under its NAVAIR contract, BAE Systems awarded M7 a subcontract of approximately $50M to be performed over a five-year period.

BAE Systems (BAESY) announced that it has entered into an agreement with Esterline (ESL) for the proposed acquisition of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Eclipse Electronic Systems, Inc., for cash consideration of approximately $28M, subject to closing adjustments. Eclipse Electronic Systems business employs approximately 90 people. The proposed acquisition is conditional upon receiving certain regulatory approvals. It is anticipated the proposed acquisition will be completed during the 1Q15.

BAE Systems is being awarded an $115M undefinitized contract action as a modification to a previously awarded contract for USS Bataan FY15 dry-docking planned maintenance availability. A dry-docking planned maintenance availability includes the planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations, and modifications that will update and improve the ship's military and technical capabilities. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by November 2015.
