08:51 EDTCIENCiena sees exceeding 10% adjusted operating margin for FY15
Says during Q3, saw a change in the timing of network implementations of certain customers, North American Tier 1 service providers in particular, due to a number of customer-specific factors. Says Q3 revenue was lower than expected, but believes factors are "temporary in nature" and do not represent a fundamental change in market demand or Ciena's overall momentum "in any way." Says was "purely an issue in timing," and sees growing underlying demand. Says "encouraged" by positive customer response to Cyan acquisition, sees Cyan revenue contribution "strong." Sees Cyan accretive to Q4 results. Says now expects to exceed 10% adjusted operating margin for FY15. Comments made on the Q3 earnings conference call.
