Epiq Systems announced it has initiated construction on a 20,000 square foot expansion to its corporate headquarters in Kansas City, Kansas. The approximate $7.5M facility expansion will primarily accommodate the company's growing requirements for technology professionals. Upon completion in summer 2013, Epiq will be positioned to expand its Kansas City workforce to more than 200 associates. Epiq currently employs approximately 1,000 associates worldwide. The company expects to receive approximately $4.5M of incentives related to the facility and employment expansion in the form of property tax reductions, sales tax exemptions and Kansas income tax credits. | |
