14:56 EDTGOOG, ENTGlobal Eagle weakness likely attributed to Google project, says Dougherty
Dougherty believes the "only logical explanation" for weakness today in shares of Global Eagle (ENT) are media reports about Google's (GOOG) plans to spend over $1B on small low-orbit satellites. One concern may be that Global Eagle has already leased all the bandwidth its needs until 2020, but the firm believes this is not true. Dougherty said another concern could be around interference from Google’s satellites, but the firm does not think regulators will allow that to go unchecked.
